Dr. Mauricio Tohen is a Distinguished University Professor at the University of New Mexico and the Chairman of the University of New Mexico’s Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences. He has more than 350 publications, 20,000 scientific citations, several books, and prestigious awards to his name. Dr. Tohen has also been recognized as one of the world’s leading experts on bipolar disorder on the breadth and depth of his publications, and one of 100 scientists worldwide recognized in the Psychiatry/Psychology category.
