Lukas and Alicia Talk Time with Senior Lecturer of Criminology and The University of Melbourne, Dr. Diana Johns. As a renowned academic, mentor and author, Diana's work is focused on the effects of criminalisation, the impacts of imprisonment, and the possibilities of restorative, relational and reintegrative justice practices. In addition to this, Diana works as a beacon in the area of African Gangs and the media portrayal of them in Australia and is a lead researcher with the Centre for Multicultural Youth in Melbourne. Diana is a flat out legend in this space and is a delight to listen to. Enjoy!
Talking Time is a place where uncomfortable conversations about incarceration and everything to do with it take place. It is where the voice of those who have lived it, have loved ones that has or are living it, work in it or have an interest in it, come together in a safe and supportive place.
