Life will heal the earth
Globally we see the result of mankind's lost connection with nature.
We’ve moved so far away from the wild that many don’t know how fast and easily ecosystems are destroyed, both on land and in waters. The forever chase for economic growth has made us lost and we seem to have forgotten a bit of ourselves and where we came from.
How do we turn this sinking ship around? In the end, humans will not survive in a baron world that is stripped from life. I believe we need to remember who we are and start to reconnect on both an emotional and logical level with nature to understand what we need to do next. This problem won’t be fixed by calculating continuous growth at the same time as protecting the earth. The value needs to come from something else.
In this episode, we have Andris aka the bird whisperer. A man who spent more time in the forest than most western people ever do. This has given him a deep sense of connection and knowledge about nature. Andris has made many Swedish Television appearances, imitating birds at “Sweden’s Got Talent” as well as other shows, but he has so much more crucial in-depth knowledge to share as well as his beautiful voice.

Back to the Roots. Guide your way to connect.
Right now more and more countries are going back into lockdown and for many people, this can create a lot of anxiety and stress. These are rough times and we need to find tools that can help us stay grounded and healthy even when the world feels like it's breaking around us. We have to learn how we can stay safe within ourselves. Knowing what we can control or not, and learning to put our focus on the things that create peace.
In this program we’re going to talk about mindfulness and meditation and how these techniques can help us tackle hard situations in life.
I’m talking with Jessica Sterner who is a stress therapist and practitioner of meditation and mindfulness. She’s also running daily meditations on social media for the platform Meditations Guiden, where thousands of people join the live practice each time.
What are mindfulness and meditation? How can I implement it in my daily life so that I have the tools when needing a moment to recharge or stabilize?

Is local the new global?
In this episode I’m talking with Sofia Jessen who is working as Countryside developer and head of culture at Grästorps Council in Sweden.
She was one of the initiative takers who brought the Finnish concept Reko- Ring to Sweden in 2016.
A movement of buying local grown food directly from your closest farmer through Facebook, spread rapidly in Sweden and is now available in most parts of the country.
One of the biggest challenges we are facing is the result of transportation and mass production of food viands. Reko-Ring might not be a fully new concept in itself, but it has definitely come as a result of people caring and wanting to buy food locally again in order to support a more sustainable way of buying your groceries.

Forestry Vs Biodiversity
In this episode we are giving focus to biodiversity and our dear forests. The mass extinction of life that we see today is something that is more serious than we know and discuss. Whilst the forestry industry is doing their best to make forestry look sustainable, we are losing more and more species everyday which has a direct negative ecological effect that most do not consider or even know about. Joining me in this episode is Rebecka Le Moine, a biologist with a masters in ecology and nature conservation. Rebecka has also been a member of the Swedish Parliament since 2018.
