Ten Pennies 🪓

Ten Pennies is a story about a little boy helping his father buy some nails when he sees a little red hatchet in the window. He imagines all the chores he could do with it to help around the house, but when he hears that it will cost 10 pennies, he feels sad. He goes home to tell his mom about it and gets ready for bed; the next day is his birthday. Will his wish come true? Will he be able to get the hatchet and help pound nails, split boards, and build houses? Sleep Tight! Sheryl & Clark
