Great show. I like the guys takes and the depth they get into with them, they are thought out and I enjoy the granularity that can come with them on play design or play calling for instance. A great place to get your NFL fix.

I’ve been listening to this podcast ever since I got into football during COVID. As an Australian that was watching the game but had no idea what is going on, Robert and his guests got me to the point where I not only understood the rules, but understood the way different roles are played, how football tactics and coaching work and how the front office organisations operate. If you’re getting into football, listen to this podcast.

I stumbled on The Athletic Football show in the off-season of 2023. Robert and Nate are fantastic and provide really great insights to the game and dig a little deeper and I’ve been able to learn a lot as an Australian trying to follow the best sport in the world. The football GM show is terrific and as a president of a local amateur sports team really presents a great tool as the way I think about issues that aren’t related to what happens directly on the field. Is the swearing really necessary? Also, Nate and Rob agree too much. Also Rob needs to learn not to look at the YouTube comments. The guy is far too sensitive. Robert is also too afraid to be wrong and not be taken seriously to give any strong opinions.

Oh my god where to begin with how much I love this podcast!! It’s by far the most informative football podcast going round. As an Australian it’s sometimes hard to understand the small details and intricacies of the NFL but Robert,Nate and the gang explain things in a very simple yet interesting way. I would highly recommend it to anyone who loves American football.

I’m from Australia and I listening to a lot of American podcasts in regards to NFL and your podcast is by far the best podcast in the game.

Started listening to the show just this year and it’s awesome. Really love all the contract talk and level headed discussion on cap space and strategies. Some of Nate’s play descriptions lose me a little but I’m picking up bits as we go. There’s a genuineness to the way they discuss issues and the consistency of content delivery is great (particularly now in the off season). Love the show; keep up the good work.
