    • Nature

The Australian Microplastic Assessment Project (AUSMAP) is the bridge between a massive problem and the solutions, designed to document and analyse microplastic pollution in Australian aquatic environments. Dr Michelle Blewit (AUSMAP Program Director) and Dr Scott Wilson (AUSMAP Research Director and Senior Lecturer/ Senior Research Fellow at Macquarie University) join us to talk about how citizen science is putting microplastic pollution on the map, and the what we can do to solve this near invisible but growing problem.
This is a two-part conversation, with the second (and final) part released next week.
