This podcast is made for ambitious women who feel like they are constantly stuck having to choose between “work” and “life”. If you never have time for the things you really want to be doing, constantly find your self care or down time is rushed and unproductive (or non-existent) and regularly experience guilt and that feeling you should be doing more, I know exactly how you feel. It’s time to redefine what we’ve told ourselves about life balance and get inspired to own a better and more sustainable way to achieve it. And yes, that means ditching the work-life balance formula.
Tune in to be inspired by bi-weekly episodes on with guests including Kelsey Wells, Steph Claire Smith, Laura Henshaw, Leah Itsines, Sarah Davidson, Katie Williams and more. Join us every Monday for a guest episode and every Thursday for a solo episode by your host Erika De Pellegrin.
If you’re ready to take balance back into your own hands, then this podcast is for you.

BTS If you thrive in busyness but feel guilty for it, this one's for you

BTS If you thrive in busyness but feel guilty for it, this one's for you

This is the literal dilemma I had that prompted me to start this podcast... that is, thriving in busyness and loving being busy, but also feeling guilty for it. So I sat down and reframed what being busy meant, how it made me feel and how to ensure I didn't get swept up in the "busyness" to a point where I neglected my wellness, my wellbeing. And today, I take you exactly through the process I undertook to arrive in a place where I feel confident defending my time & forgetting feeling guilty for how I'm spending it.
At times we need to go deeper in our health, or our work, and we don't need to feel guilty or let others make us feel guilty for it. So get ready to OWN it! Let's Balance together.

Marlo Grover on finding joyful movement and proactive self care

Marlo Grover on finding joyful movement and proactive self care

Today I am joined by Marlo Grover, the founder of G Pump and woman on a mission to spread joyful vibes into our exercise regimes! Among some of the incredible topics we dive into today, my favourites include why exercise shouldn't be a chore and how to fix a 'meh' relationship with it, how to enjoy the process and take the pressure of the results, and importantly why something doesn't have to be hard for it to be effective.
We also chat about the meaning of self care everyday, rather than using it as a go-to when sh*t hits the fan. Another personal fav of both of ours is using Disney movies as a self care activity but you'll need to tune in to hear our favourites!
You can connect with Marlo more on LinkedIn, TikTok or Instagram @marlowalkergrover or @g.pump_fit

BTS Why failing is an essential part of any journey

BTS Why failing is an essential part of any journey

Today I share a replay of a very early episode that I have recently listened back to to help me reframe my feelings with failure. In this episode, I share my thoughts on "beginnings" and their close but common link to "failing". I think the fear of failing, and the emotions associated with 'new beginnings' often prevent people from getting started A LOT more than they should. I share some insights into how we can reframe our understanding and connection to these feelings, and kick beginnings in the butt!

Gil Winch on how to create a more effective & inclusive work place

On today’s episode I am joined by Gil Winch, an organisational consultant and keynote speaker, to talk about diverse workplaces. A big focus of his at present is the inclusion of physically and emotionally disabled individuals in the workplace to move towards real inclusion. We discuss business productivity and how disabilities can actually enhance your output and business longevity. Gil also dives into what diversity means and what that looks like in different workplaces as well as on the global stage.
Gil has served as a personal consultant to CEO’s and leaders of large organisations and is on a mission to end workplace exclusion and make significant inroads toward social justice. His new book, Winning with Underdogs is teaching employers how to build a workplace that’s both more inclusive and more effective.
You can find out more about Gil over on his website, or otherwise via LinkedIn.

Amazing!

I’m so happy I found this podcast - there’s not many like this that I can find! Thank you!

QUALITY

As cliche as this might sound, this podcast has really brought balance into my life! A refreshing perspective that doesn’t make you feel like you need to have it all figured out in order to have balance. Super handy tips and tricks that are actually achievable to take away with you through all parts of life.
The celebrity guests that are chosen for this podcast are great quality but the Monday Muse episodes truly bring this raw and unique mental opening to my life. The content in MM is extremely gender fluid, I share them with my boyfriend all the time! And he finds them so helpful. Sometimes we’ll even quote them because of how relevant they can be to everyday life 🙌🏼🤩

Juzmaan ,

Really good perspective and comprehensive. Some very good reminders and guidance. Thankyou.
