I'm hooked by these kooky, charming weirdos
The story itself is pretty interesting but made more so by Melissa's colourful and expletive laden tangents. These two are infinitely endearing. I just put on this podcast while grinding away at my mundane job.
Uncovered a rare treasure
Buying a magical (but trashed) theatre on an obsessive quest to restore it to its former glory, Mel and Matt find themselves on a true-life treasure hunt. What follows is an entertaining and unpredictable quest to dig up stuff (stuff that’s more valuable than the insult-comic talking doll they discover early on), but it’s their easy connection and compelling, subtly structured storytelling that’s the real treasure here. A find in themselves (and you don’t even have to get your hands dirty, they’ve done all the hard work for you).
