    Beware The Little Things

    Beware The Little Things

“It can be easy to make an excuse. Oh, it’s just a bad habit. Oh, it doesn’t matter. It’s also easy to think you’ve got this life thing handled—because you’ve survived some big adversity in your time. In truth, we are all vulnerable. To our habits. To unexpected weaknesses.”
Ryan explains why small steps are no small thing, on today’s Daily Stoic Podcast.

There Are No Banned Books | We Are a Product of Our Habits

“One way to get a sense of how powerful something is is how scared people are of it. Why have governments gone to such trouble to ban various books over the years? Why do people try to censor things they disagree with? Because they’re scared of meeting ideas on an open playing field.”
Ryan explains the powerful impact that books have on culture, and reads this week’s meditation from The Daily Stoic Journal, on today’s Daily Stoic Podcast.

Love this podcast

Found by accident looking for something else and can’t stop listening.
It’s great to be able to listen to experiences for other people and also other generations and learn from what those before us have gone through and how they dealt with it.
Ryan is a great host and delivers really insightful thoughts and guests on the show. He isn’t forcing his thoughts on the listener, just gives a perspective and lets them work out their own path from there. Love the podcast and thanks so much for producing it Ryan.

This podcast has made me a better person

If you are looking to learn about yourself and others and to grow personally, and not just be entertained, then this is a podcast for you. I have made this part of my daily success routine. Thank you Ryan for bringing Stoicism to my life.

Bad Language

I was looking forward to listening to a podcast about Stoicism but as soon as the presenter used the F word I immediately unsubscribed. I do not like to hear such low class words. It’s so unnecessary. He can swear all he wants but not at me.
