Dave Chang has a few questions. Besides being the chef of the Momofuku restaurants and the creator and host of Netflix’s 'Ugly Delicious,' Dave is an avid student and fan of sports, music, art, film, and, of course, food. In ranging conversations that cover everything from the creative process to his guest’s guiltiest pleasures, Dave and a rotating cast of smart, thought-provoking guests talk about their inspirations, failures, successes, fame, and identities.

The pair then turn to pitching a “perfect game” in Copenhagen, as Dave runs down some of his favorite restaurants in the city. Finally, the pair play Overrated/Underrated with various French foods in anticipation of the upcoming Olympic Games in Paris.

Pod so good I dreamt about Dave
I had to write this review because of the vivid dream I had last night eating wings (flats with knife and fork) with Dave Chang telling me my skilled knife work was simply too much work and wasted an appendage that could be holding a beer instead. Yes, this pod is so f$&@ing good and Dave (and Ying and Noelle) so honest, genuine and funny I frigging thought they were my friends in Melbourne. PS. The dream ended once an annoying colleague spotted me and joined the table all before I got to take Dave to this seafood restaurant called Claypots.
Yeah….Nah
Used to love this show around 3 years ago, with the endless supply of interesting guests and Dave’s engaging personality, I looked forward to it every week……
Sadly over the past couple years it’s gone down a rather irritating breakfast radio show formula path, where there is much laughter from the hosts about things that are not particularly funny, or interesting, as well as not that many interesting guests appearing anymore, Jerry Saltz being the exception……
Oh well
Josh
Absolutely one of my favourite podcasts out there. As much as I disagree with some of Dave’s opinions He does make a lot of good points. Every episode is full of absolutely hilarious moments with actually interesting discussions.
Good job Dave, Chris and Noelle
