Excellent history podcast

Wyman does a great job of sifting and distilling scholarly history for the lay listener without dumbing it down. He also treads thoughtfully through the various methodological, moral and philosophical questions that study of history throws up. I think his approach is spot on.

Different perspective

Good history-telling, taking a multitude of perspectives into account.

Clear and Engaging

This is a fantastic podcast with a clear focus, and a fascinating framework. Patrick is engaging, and his clear presentation is great. This is mandatory for anyone who is fascinated by Rome and what history can teach us.

I love the clarity of the presentation, and the way the topic is broken into discrete themes.

Only gripe is that there is no music to bookend, or that plays over the ads. Would be better to differentiate.
