Gain knowledge on how to run a record store and learn about the Parisian hip hop & house scene - Charles Eddy

Gain knowledge on how to run a record store and learn about the Parisian hip hop & house scene - Charles Eddy

This weeks guest is Charles Eddy - a record store owner, a former hip hop DJ and a true electronic music lover

Charles grew up in the parisian hip hop scene with a very musically rich family and brings that into his eclectic DJ sets over here in Melbourne

He also runs Natural Selection, a dance music record store with a liquor license, beer on tap and a store able to host parties up to 30 people - definitely a recipe for disaster (in a good way)

He shares some knowledge about fellow frenchman David Guetta some of you may or may not agree with, so stick around its a bit of a polarising opinion this one

Before we get into this, I just want to announce that this will be the last podcast for the next few months, as I’m taking a break to focus on setting up a music production coaching business but I’ll be back in the new year with regular episodes for you all to get stuck into

A big milestone for the podcast - episode 30!

I thought I'd do a solo episode this time to help my audience get to know me a little better as I've not really spoken about myself throughout these interviews

I've used it to tell you about my background, my own struggles with mental health, my past partying days, my passion for all types of music and my difficult childhood/teenage years which led me to become obsessed with electronic music

If you're someone who has had any type of mental health battle, you're a fan of electronic music or you just want to hear more from the host of this podcast, tune in to hear more via Spotify/Apple Podcasts
