James is not just an ordinary guy trying to keep his wife and children from living under a bridge on a diet of cat food. He’s hilarious, and dreams of owning a boat. He is brilliantly Australian, which means he’s open and genuine instead of artificial and American. He’s the kind of man you’d want to be your mate (in a friendly rather than reproductive sense).
