profound role of chiropractic care, viewing the body as an interconnected whole.

In this insightful conversation, Elise sheds light on the

But that's not all! Elise shares her expertise on adjustments
for newborns, optimising fetal positioning, and preconception strategies.

Drawing from her personal experiences, she bravely opens up about her own pregnancy, birth, and postpartum journeys. Elise recounts both a hospital birth and a freebirth, offering listeners a glimpse into the spectrum of birthing experiences.

Please note that our discussion includes themes of pregnancy loss and suicide. I wish to provide a gentle trigger warning to the listeners before delving into these sensitive topics.

Rosie - homebirth and freebirth doula who shares her four unique birth experiences, two homebirths and two freebirths. We also talk about pelvic varicose veins, gender disappointment and postpartum.

Welcome back to another episode of The Mama Village podcast. Today, I have the privilege of sitting down with Rosie, a seasoned homebirth and freebirth doula, as she shares her remarkable journey through four unique
births. Rosie's story is a tapestry of contrasts, each pregnancy and birth offering its own set of challenges and triumphs. From the smooth sailing of her first pregnancy, followed by a difficult postpartum experience, to the
lightning-fast delivery of her second child after switching care providers at 36 weeks, Rosie's journey is a testament to the unpredictability of childbirth.

In her third birth, Rosie found herself in the midst of moving back into their home after months of repairs following a storm. This orchestrated the chaos of packing and unpacking while simultaneously navigating the
intensity of labour. Her son bore witness to this powerful moment, adding an extra layer of complexity to an already unforgettable experience.

But it was Rosie's fourth birth that truly tested her
resilience. Choosing to freebirth once again, she opens up about the raw and real emotions of gender disappointment, offering a candid glimpse into the complexities of motherhood and expectation.

Throughout our conversation, Rosie shares her mental process behind choosing freebirth and reflects on the transformative power of each birth experience.

Before we dive in, I want to apologise for the audio quality of this episode. It's a bit crackly, and I am not sure what happened or why. Nonetheless, I hope you'll join us as we delve into Rosie's extraordinary journey through motherhood and childbirth.
