    #76 - Precognitive Dreaming

In this week’s intriguing episode, Matt delves into the topic of precognitive dreams, exploring the idea that some people can predict future events through their dreams. He explains that while this concept might seem appealing, it is actually a result of statistical chance. With around 8 billion people in the world each having multiple dreams per night, the sheer number of dreams increases the likelihood of coincidental matches between dreams and real-life events. Interesting dynamic in AMA episodes

I really love this podcast, so I’m not downgrading the star rating. However, the recent ‘ask me anything’ episodes were problematic. There was a very knowledgeable guest Eti who was simply never allowed to speak. When she did, Matt Walker mansplained her several times. He kept saying how wonderful she was, but not allowing that to shine. It came across as patronising. I think he probably spoke 95% of the time, and she merely asked the questions like some kind of glorified personal assistant. Suggest that you listen back to this Matt, and think about how to improve it if you have a female guest again. (Or indeed, in your daily interactions with women.) When you’re on your own, the podcast is brilliant, and I have no suggestions at all, really enjoy it. 5 stars and thank you, you have changed my sleep massively for the better. Love the book as well.
