A chat close to my heart. Crystal Atkins is a Clinical Audiologist, which means she knows A LOT about all things ears. As a hearing impaired woman, it was so incredible to talk with someone so openly about our experiences from either side of the desk.

The high's and low's of IVF treatment with Hannah McLean

The high's and low's of IVF treatment with Hannah McLean

    Hello all!

This week I sat down to chat with an old friend of mine. Hannah is one of the most wonderful people I know. She is so incredibly warm, FUNNY, and bubbly, and her story is so insightful, and one I think everyone who is trying to conceive should hear.

Hannah is currently undergoing rounds of IVF, in the hope that she and her husband, will have a baby. She is so vulnerable, candid, and knowledgeable about her experiences, and I cannot thank her enough for sharing!

If you enjoyed this, and would like to connect with Hannah, you can find her on Instagram @journey_to_baby_mclean.

Life changing

Until I found Zoe I was terrified of giving birth (we are talking physically ill at the thought) I wish I could express how drastically Zoe’s calm demeanour has changed my whole life, Zoe is educational but in a way that isn’t made to just terrify you about all the terrible things that could happen, but also doesn’t just sugar coat everything I seriously feel like each episode topic is so extensively covered I have very little left to question which was part of my fear of birth After a few episodes of listening to Zoe tell me all the things that can happen during birth, what can be done about them and reminding me that I can choose to say no or request things from my care team, I no longer feel absolutely terrified by giving birth, my biggest goal in life is to become a mum and no longer having so much fear surrounding birth has seriously changed my life I will never be able to thank Zoe enough If you aren’t listening, you need to be
