The Modern Art Notes Podcast
The Modern Art Notes Podcast is a weekly, hour-long interview program featuring artists, historians, authors, curators and conservators. Pulitzer Prize-winning art critic Sebastian Smee called The MAN Podcast “one of the great archives of the art of our time.” When the US chapter of the International Association of Art Critics gave host Tyler Green one of its inaugural awards for criticism in 2014, it included a special citation for The MAN Podcast.

The likes of Sophie Calle and Gregory Crewdson make great interviewees and Tyler Green handles these discussions with aplomb and humility - with none of the bombast or big noting of so many podcast art gurus which gets in the way of the person we have come to listen to. His questions and prompts are succinct and well researched. The interviews with the greats that he attracts to the show are surrounded with other appropriate and stimulating discussions with artists, curators, authors and scholars which give the program appeal beyond California.
Excellent listening

Have recommended this podcast to many friends in the past years - Tyler's research and scholarly apprehension of art and the artists and curators working with it is of the highest order. Wonderful resource - thank you.
