Pretty boring, sometimes inappropriate tone.
I realise that true crime podcasts are meant to walk a line between education and entertainment, but this podcast is almost exclusively produced as entertainment. From the music, the pace and advertising it takes a tragic crime with contemporary victims and survivors and turns it into serialised entertainment. Pretty disappointing from what could otherwise be a fascinating discussion of foraging culture in Australia or viewed through the context of a history of other similar crimes globally.

But why the reporter feels it necessery to comment on what Erin was wearing, three times! Is beyond me!
Reviewers are sexist
I have been wondering why this podcast has such a low score across multiple platforms because the podcast is actually decent. The comments here are full of people complaining about the presenter’s normal Australian woman voice. Vocal fry is normal and not something you need speech therapy for. Doing so would be a waste of time for the therapist because having a bit of vocal fry is normal. Men also can exhibit vocal fry, yet nobody complains about it. Once again, the presenter’s voice is normal and if you have a problem with it, you need a linguistics lesson.
