Dave & Fil spent the weekend hitting up all 3 New Bloom Fests across Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne and caught up today in person to recap and review such an amazing weekend!
 
Covering all the major bands, our favourite locals of the weekend, favourite moments and more! And even chat through their way too early predictions and wish lists for next year!
 
The boys also spoke about the lead up to the fest with side shows spanning from Touché Amoré and Movements, and what they’re looking forward to this week post-fest.
 
Big praise to Destroy All Lines for putting on one of our favourite shows of all time, and we hope New Bloom returns in 2025!

Antiskeptic are fresh off the back of releasing their first album in 10 years, ‘Instincts’, and this week the pod was joined by frontman Andrew Kitchen for a chat.
 
We talk about the hunger of returning for a new album after so long, writing an album in lockdown, how the scene has changed over the years and so much more!
 
Andrew brought us 5 tracks on behalf of the band that helped inspire this record, including some absolute heaters from bands like The Killers, Closure In Moscow and The Veronicas.

GLOW are a metalcore band hailing from Melbourne, and last week they celebrated the release of their debut EP ‘…And All That We Are Is Nothing We Dreamed Of’.
 
Josh and Rick from the band joined us this week to chat how the band came to be, the Ballarat scene, having fun with music and heaps more!
