Awesome romance focused podcast

I love The Wicked Wallflowers. I enjoy all their interviews and insights. I enjoy ‘meeting’ the authors behind the books I love. They’ve also introduced me to new authors I haven’t read or heard about but who I have now read or added to the TBR pile. My TBR pile is getting out of hand! My favourite part is the rapid fire questions!

Not for shrinking violets

Romance is a powerhouse publishing genre written predominantly by women, for women. Despite the fact it outsells every other fiction genre put together, both the authors and readers are often treated with sneering contempt by mainstream media. Yet romance readers and authors tend to be educated, articlate and ahead of the curve on gender concerns. Which is probably why good romance podcasts are so important within the industry, bypassing the media with their outdated stereotypes. Jenny and Sarah discuss all things romance in a frank and engaging way. They talk books, authors, publishing industry, trends, and aren't afraid to tackle controversial subjects head on. Definitely worth listening to if you like author interviews and book discussions.
