Really loved this podcast - especially the book focused episodes. Got me reading books I wouldn’t usually pick up and I also appreciate its honest reviews. It’s a shame the original was shelved (!). Please bring it back.

Another epic podcast by Shameless Media group. I have been loving all of the new series within this podcast show from the intimate discussions with authors, stranger than fiction and now Tastemakers. I can always find something new and interesting here and love keeping up with the monthly book clubs.

There are some interesting ideas with this podcast but the execution is really off. Eilish always sounds like she is reading right off a script with the Stranger Than Fiction episodes. The sponsorships that get attached to this podcast (Baileys, olive oil etc) also just seem like odd choices.

I usually love the book club episodes but this one was very poorly done. The hosts really need to read the books if they are going to talk about adaptations and also they don’t seem to take proper notes of the show which results in them reaffirming wrong information (the dog) with each other. Finally, the flaws they were pointing out was that it needs to be more gritty but they seem to miss the point that it’s YA
