Who S**t On The Floor At My Wedding? was a question shared by brides Helen McLaughlin and Karen Whitehouse after they tied the knot on 11 August, 2018 on a boat in Amsterdam. It was a question that launched a podcast, which led to the hiring of unqualified detective Lauren Kilby, the purchase of a €99 lie detector, and the bothering of some of the world’s best forensic experts - all in an attempt to find out “poo dunnit”.
For season 2, the investigative trio is back with a brand new mystery set in Sweden (Scandi Noir if you will) called The Case Of The Tiny Suit/Case. They now live by the phrase “when the cops say no, we say yes”. This season explores a serial act of reverse theft: a tiny three piece corduroy suit and a suitcase containing threatening items were planted on the victim’s veranda in the middle of nowhere. Our forensic experts are also back on board, not because they want to be, but because we asked really really nicely, (and Karen can be unnervingly persuasive).

Great journey

This podcast is an ornament to the genre. It is about the journey not the destination. Instructive for students of investigation.

Obviously a coke poo gone wrong

I feel like it’s quite obvious that Henke is a drug dealer and that’s why they were loitering all night by the women’s toilets. ALSO explains why they are so chatty. Henke was distributing cocaine to the guests, and one had an enthusiastic bowel movement that didn’t make it into the cubicle. This is also why Henke was so eager to clean it up - they knew they were indirectly responsible.
