Along with the apathy, grief and uncertainty this podcast was the hope I needed to get out of bed today. Thank you for the hope ❤️
5 years of preparation
31/03/2023
On the week the final episode aired I received my own diagnosis after routinely checking my body as we are continuously reminded to do. I had already listened to every episode starting from when it first aired so I feel like I have done the best preparation possible for my own situation including getting an early diagnosis. Most importantly, I am starting with the right attitude and of course, Rebellious Hope. This podcast is the gift that keeps on giving.
Loving the podcast from across the seas

Five years ago this week I started that journey of cancer. No one ever wanted to come across. I heard about your podcast from my therapist helping me at the time of my diagnosis of breast cancer at the age of 38. The podcast has helped my in many way I’d never be able to explain and I am eternally grateful. A year and a half into my treatment, I applied to university bachelor of nursing. This week is a very big week, realising what has happened over the last five years, as I now start a new journey as a registered nurse in Australia. So thank you from the bottom of my heart. ❤️

I live in Sydney ,I haven’t had cancer but my Mum has : she and we are some the lucky ones in that she has enjoyed great health for 15 years since her metastatic breast cancer . I find your podcast nothing short of awesome as we Aussies like to say . When Rachel announced her worst news and died I felt incredibly sad for you all but especially Steve , Freddie and Rachels Mum . Your honesty about that experience , your relationship with cancer and all that goes with it; how you invite us with you on this seemingly terrible , tragic but also positive emotional roller coaster with you .I wish Rachel were still here .I loved her voice , professionalism , emotional maturity and admired her strength . Sadly she isn’t but I’m so glad you are , Steve . All three of you provide so much to all of us listeners . You talk about your inner thoughts and feelings and there is nothing more human than that .Its what helps us connect to each other and reminds that suffering is universal. I wish all of you oceans of the best . LB . Sydney, Australia.
