It is a focal point in the movement for women's rights.  After the Socialist Party of America organized a Women's Day in New York City on 28 February 1909, German delegates Clara Zetkin, Käte Duncker, Paula Thiede and others proposed at the 1910 International Socialist Woman's Conference that "a special Women's Day" be organized annually. After women gained suffrage in Soviet Russia in 1917, March 8 became a national holiday there. The day was then predominantly celebrated by the socialist movement and communist countries until it was adopted by the feminist movement in about 1967. The United Nations began celebrating the day in 1977.

How Fish Produce Electricity in Telugu | How different fish survive Dark Sea in Telugu | Kiran Varma

How Fish Produce Electricity in Telugu  How different fish survive Dark Sea in Telugu Kiran Varma   చేపలు విద్యుత్తును ఎలా ఉత్పత్తి చేస్తాయి చీకటి సముద్రం నుండి వివిధ చేపలు ఎలా జీవించాయి   #KiranVarma #science #telugunews #telugu #fish #electricalfish   Audio version of this video available on all platforms : https://anchor.fm/kiranvarma  Follow us on Facebook @ fb.com/kiranvarmaoo/  Watch video on YouTube https://youtu.be/bHPyJiOAyMQ  An electric fish is any fish that can generate electric fields. A fish that can generate electric fields is called electrogenic while a fish that has the ability to detect electric fields is called electroreceptive. Most electrogenic fish are also electroreceptive. The only group of electrogenic fish who are not electroreceptive come from the family Uranoscopidae. Electric fish species can be found both in the ocean and in freshwater rivers of South America (Gymnotiformes) and Africa (Mormyridae). Many fish such as sharks, rays and catfishes can detect electric fields and are thus electroreceptive, but they are not classified as electric fish because they cannot generate electricity. Most common bony fish (teleosts), including most fish kept in aquaria or caught for food, are neither electrogenic nor electroreceptive.

Why Teachers paid so little in Telugu | Why are Teachers Quit in Telugu | by Kiran Varma in Telugu

Why Teachers paid so little in Telugu  Why are Teachers Quit in Telugu Kiran Varma in Telugu   ఉపాధ్యాయులు ఎందుకు అంత తక్కువ చెల్లించారు ఉపాధ్యాయులు ఎందుకు నిష్క్రమించారు   #KiranVarma #Kiranvarmatelugu #science #telugunews #telugu #teachers #education #schools #students   Audio version of this video available on all platforms : https://anchor.fm/kiranvarma  Follow us on Facebook @ fb.com/kiranvarmaoo/  Watch video on YouTube https://youtu.be/AmnbwFHvuNU  When it comes to choosing a career, you don't have to decide between meaning and money. For example, surgeons earn over $300,000 a year and 96 percent of them say their job makes the world a better place. For many occupations, however, there is a significant disparity between pay and meaning. And because of that disparity, some jobs, like teachers, end up having to leave the profession they felt so driven to go into.  PayScale's recent report, The Most and Least Meaningful Jobs, shows that teachers at all levels report consistently high levels of job meaning. But they also report consistently low rates of pay. Ninety-six percent of postsecondary English language and literature teachers reported high job meaning. That's second only to the clergy for high job meaning. Their earnings also hover around clergy level: $43,600 median pay for postsecondary English teachers, and $46,600 for clergy.

What is Moss and all about it in Telugu | How Moss Gave Life to Plants in Telugu | Kiran Varma

What is Moss and all about it in Telugu  How Moss Gave Life to Plants in Telugu Kiran Varma    మోస్ అంటే ఏమిటి మరియు దాని గురించి అంతా మాస్ మొక్కలకు జీవితాన్ని ఎలా ఇచ్చింది   #KiranVarma #Kiranvarmatelugu #science #telugunews #telugu #Moss #water #nutrients   Audio version of this  video available on all platforms : https://anchor.fm/kiranvarma  Follow us on Facebook @ fb.com/kiranvarmaoo/   Watch video on YouTube https://youtu.be/LYoVy-3kLTk Members of the ten thousand species of the class Bryopsida or Musci in the order Bryophyta, mosses are usually tiny, fragile, nonflowering, spore-bearing plants. They are related to hornworts and liverworts.  Mosses evolved from green algae before the existence of reptiles and flying insects. Fossils from the Devonian period, about 410million to 353 million years ago, contain mosses. The first known mosses lived 286 million to 245 million years ago, during the Permian period.  By the Tertiary period, approximately 66.4 million to 1.6 million years ago, at least one hundred moss species existed. Fossilized mosses, including Muscites, Palaeohypnum, and Protosphagnum, resemble modern moss species structurally, indicating that mosses have not evolved quickly.  Found globally, mosses prefer damp, shady, sparsely vegetated environments and often grow on land adjacent to bodies of fresh water and in woods, sometimes appearing carpet like.
