Hanna and I have done various improv gigs together and it has always been inspiring to work with her. (Do You Want to Be a Moviestar?) The show put her on the map in the whole country and she became a star. A couple of years ago she came back to the daily series Salatut elämät (Secret Lives), in which she plays a colorful character Salla. Jere started his filmmaking career in his early twenties and has not stopped since. Jere has his own production company and advertising agency, and that's how he makes his living. Unlike many other filmmakers who leave to bigger cities, he has stayed in his hometown Varkaus, which is a small city in Finland. Instead of moving to LA he wants to bring Hollywood to Varkaus. And so far he has succeeded in it by bringing international cast (including Eric Roberts) to Finland to act in his new movie Insite.
