Eyecare for Your Kids - Dr. Christie Jackson

Dr. Christie Jackson is an optometrist and mom to 2 young children. Her practice is Truckee Family Eyecare, located just across the street from KidZone Museum. Christie shares a wealth of information for parents on how to support healthy vision for their children. She talks about red flags in small children (when to seek an evaluation) and her recommendation that every child have an eye exam before entering kindergarten. Christie also talks about screen time, the need to view real things in the distance, sunglasses, and healthy exposure to sunlight.
