On this episode of Teklanta, we’re going to be discussing coding bootcamps. You might have heard the term being used a lot recently in the technology space. But what exactly is a coding bootcamp? What kind of experience can you expect to have when going through one? And what can you get out of that experience? Today on the show we will be speaking with Jamie King who is an instructor at General Assembly, which is one of many coding bootcamp and technical education organizations here in Atlanta. Jamie went through the coding bootcamp experience himself and now provides instruction to other aspiring developers through GA’s web development immersive program. We discuss his experience, his thoughts on coding bootcamps, and what he sees in the future of technical education.
