A few years ago I was a broke, university dropout, living in one of the worst parts of the country, alone, with nothing but a laptop & a dream. Fast forward a few years, I’m the 29 year old ex CEO of one of the UK’s fastest growing companies. That company is called Social Chain. My world is intense, sometimes crazy, always challenging and always unpredictable. This podcast is simple, every week I’m going to share insights with you from guests with different backgrounds, experiences and learnings. I want to give you a look into what it’s like behind the scenes, being an entrepreneur, the deep, dark thoughts that nobody else will share with you and anything else that’s playing on my mind. This is not scripted and I don't have questions I just see where the conversation takes me. This is the diary of a CEO, I’m Steven Bartlett. I hope nobody is listening, but if you are… keep this to yourself.

He’s co-founded over 20 businesses, he’s the author of the ground-breaking ‘Solve for Happy’ and he was chief business officer of the pioneering wing of google, Google X, the ‘moonshot factory’ where they work on all the latest technologies like self-driving cars and robots.

As it should be...

Thank you for sharing those things that most entrepreneurs never dare to speak about.
I started listening and I have to admit... I couldn’t stop🙈
it’s such a relief to hear someone is having the same thoughts, struggles, way of thinking about life ... While I am listening, my mind goes like: “omg yes! Totally, you are so right” 😅

The thing I miss the most as a starter, is the truth, the real thing, and yes we love the entrepreneurial life, but sometimes the adventure of being an entrepreneur, the sacrifices ... are damn hard 🤗

Thanks for creating a feeling of “normality”!

Would love to chat, you mentioned to tag my insta account and chat... here we go:

Mathieu VKB ,

Loving it !

In our zapping era, people tends to be artificial, fake, overacting... Unknown people such as stars such as big organisations...

But, you, S.B., you do not. You go deep in your mind and heart thanks to this podcast, even your guests. You give value, time, emotions and your own experience to people. It’s kind of the entrepreneurship’s backstage.

I do support you and that kind of content. It’s inspiring, based on reality and and f#cking good !

Thanks 🖤

@FoodIsLove900 ,

Best way to relax

Loving this new way you’re showing us more of your own thoughts.

Can’t wait for more and hoping for longer episodes too, the longer the better ofc.
