A New Era for Music - a chat with Live Music Promoter Alexandra Ampofo

Lizzie Tarrant speaks to Alexandra Ampofo, a Live Music Promoter who is making massive waves in the music industry. Alongside her full-time job, she also runs her own company, Acoustic Live, dedicated to keeping stripped-back music alive, as well as Women Connect, a not-for-profit organisation which provides safe spaces for women and non-binary people in the creative industry. Alexandra is committed to making the music industry an equal playing field for all, which led her to set up Embrace Nation, a learning hub where she aims to create an open dialogue around racial equality and diversity. Here, Alex speaks about her experiences and projects, and how she is navigating a new era for the music industry.
