This annual PLE comes to us live from Riyadh, Saudi Arabia and features the inaugural ceremony of the WWE Crown Jewel Championships for both the Men’s and Women’s Divisions. For the Women, the WWE Women’s Champion, Nia Jax took on the WWE Women’s World Champion, Liv Morgan. For the Men, the World Heavyweight Champion, “The Ring General” Gunther battles the WWE Champion, “The American Nightmare” Cody Rhodes. Other matches included, “The Viper”, Randy Orton looking to settle the score with his former teammate, “The Prize Fighter”, Kevin Owens. LA Knight defends the United States Championship against both Andrade & Carmelo Hayes. Seth “Freakin” Rollins makes in ring return to take on “Big” Bronson Reed after weeks of backstage assaults. The WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships are on the line as Bianca Belair & Jade Cardgill defend against DMGE Control (Iyo Sky & Kairi Sane), Chelsea Green & Piper Niven and NXT’s Meta Four (Lash Legend & Jakara Jackson). In a six man tag team match, The OG Bloodline, (Roman Reigns & the USOs) take on The New Bloodline (Solo Sokia, Jacob Fatu & Toma Tonga).
