Episode 2 - Cinderella

Cinderella is one of the most famous stories ever and is prominent in America's psyche. The 1950 film adaptation by Disney cleaned up a lot of the rough edges that have endured in this story through the ages. Seeing versions across Europe and Asia, the most prominent ones come in France and Germany. The Grimm Brothers version as told in this episode is darker and less magical than its relatives.
