Turning Point: living in a halfway house where he also discovered the organization "Back on My Feet," which uses running to help homeless individuals rebuild their lives. This organization provided him with a supportive community and his first pair of running shoes. Athletic Journey: After a first marathon experience he got a taste of Ultramarathons and Ironman in Lake Placid. He got sponsored by Athletic Brewing as an ambassador.
