I was so thrilled to have the epic Lael Stone on the podcast today. She is a speaker, educator and author and an incredible woman who is changing the word in so many ways through her various forms of service for children, parents, educators, schools, businesses, sports teams and so much more!

In this podcast we spoke about all the ways we can create connection & stay to connected to our children from those early years all the way to teenagers.

We spoke about:

  • Children being either in balance/ out of balance 
  • Importance of connection before direction 
  • The importance of play for both younger and older years
  • Where to start when we feel that we just a hot mess in parenting
  • Why it’s not our children’s job to make us feel good about ourselves 
  • The stories we bring to parenthood 
  • How to deal with kids with HUGE feelings
  • Looking back on the way she parterned her children - with hindsight what would she do differently, worry about less, etc
  • Advice for any mums trying to "do it all" raising business & babies
  • Her amazing school (yes she literally created her own school) — Why did she start it? What makes it different to “normal” schools?
  • If there is anything she would DO/ NOT DO if she had your time again
