Although they have some similarities, the Architecture in school is quite different from the real life practice of Architecture. From the mode of work to the type of work done, all have common but different scenarios and experiences.
One of the biggest mistakes one can make as a student/graduate of Architecture is to think that the two are the same thing and what will make you (or has made you) excel in the school of Architecture is the same as that which goes for the real life practice of Architecture.
