Ep. 9.2 Psalm 51 and Lectio Divina

Oftentimes we can exhaust ourselves trying to figure out what the Lord is trying to tell us in prayer. Spending time in scripture can give space for God to penetrate our hearts and speak to us clearly."The word of God is alive and active" (Hebrew 4:12). When trying to discern the movements of our heart, the psalms are a great place to spend time in scripture because the psalms are songs of the heart.  In this episode, Andrea and Lizz take time to pray with Psalm 51 using Lectio Divina. Lectio Divina is a way to pray with scripture that allows us to acknowledge and ponder the ways God is speaking to us through scripture. We hope this becomes a daily practice that you can incorporate into your prayer time!
