I know its been two weeks since an episode has been released but its because of everything thats been going on with travels, coronavirus and adjustments. But we will always be tuning in to and for you beautiful people! This weeks episode is nothing in particular but we did discuss a chunk of whats been happening nation wide, "The Coronavirus" !! We are safe and making work but some people are dying and alot of businesses have been affected....Capitalism is dying, yayyyy! Anyways we go into a rant about whats going on now, random thoughts like JESUS being our lord and savior, flights being cheap asf and our stance on life to date. We found it necessary this week to dive into the idea and conceptualization of masculinity and femininity. What is it? How does it feel? What does it look like, taste like? Are the separate? Society has told us in many ways it is but honestly that proves to be inconsistent and down right unrealistic. Join us as we attempt to unmask and and unpack what femininity and masculinity use to mean to us and dive into what it starting to expand into from our own experiences. On todays podcast we brought on a special and lovely guest for a discussion based interview, who has assisted in emotional care and support or over 40 births the beautiful Regina who is not only a great friend but amazing certified doula comes to share some knowledgeable insight. Its also black history month and we decided to shed some light on The Granny Midwives as our Herstory of the week, stay tuned to hear more about them and their legacy as black woman who wanted to help give births to all shades out of necessity. Also we dive into our daily lives with a dash of more doula talk from the current modern hospitals, immunizations, to child birth at home and how being a doula actually looks and feel while sharing some personal experiences. SN: Aneh the Goddess was super sick so bare with the pauses and coughs throughout the podcast. Happy Valentines Day and we will see the outcome og them happy v-day moments in 9 months.
