“Come Wind or Sun” is about four friends, from multicultural backgrounds, whose futures get muddled by one tragic incident which alters many lives. Like strong wind displaces trees, fate uproots the twenty-somethings from England, Poland, Nigeria, and Ghana, scattering them across Europe in search of a home and adventure.

This story begins in London and unfolds against a backdrop of the supernatural which adds depth to the characters’ external sojourns. As they set out together pursuing happiness or freedom, they must also embark on their inner journeys, often all alone. Sade, Alma, Emilio aka Kwaku, and Jack are compelled to face their fears and make difficult choices: love or money, forgiveness or torment, truth or liberty and privilege.

The pervasive pain of not fitting in and wounds inflicted by those who were meant to love them force the quartet to define their own identities while breaking away from society’s and family’s expectations. In this intimate voyage, the four hearts from the four corners of the earth strive to conquer: heartbreaks; mixed-race challenges, racial prejudices; life's genuine perils as well as their personal terrors…
