Researching movie titles to see which are based on books and coping with ever-shifting release dates drive me nuts every year. Add in the prevalence of film and tv adaptations on streaming services, and it’s not an easy task. This year, 2021 was no piece of cake for the movie industry, so here are our best guesses.
