PENTAMENT, 10-30 minutes stories & ideas from the human world. This podcast is about everything which touches my mind and heart. My name is Bella Volen. I am a professional academic artist and art gallery owner based in Vienna, Austria. My curiosity for human behavior led me to additional education in profiling. My podcast has many angles, sometimes about science, history, philosophy, art and culture, initiation rituals, human behavior, and business. Most of all, I am a dedicated learner, always searching for the depth of things, seeking answers to understand better the world, the human manual, and why we do what we do.

    Healing through AI: Transforming Trauma

    Midjourney is one of the most powerful visual tools for generating images. It can be used to change our perspective on the events we have experienced. Traumatic situations often get deeply etched in our minds, becoming fixed pictures that haunt us. While we cannot erase what happened or alter the facts, we can choose another viewpoint, reframe the experience, observe it from a different angle, visually play with it, and change the narrative we tell ourselves. By changing our thinking, we can rewire our brains. Millions of people have experimented with affirmations and vision boards to change their lives, and I firmly believe that visually altering our perception of the past can help regulate our emotions.

In the Andaman Islands, the Ongee people consider Smell not as an isolated sense but as a fundamental cosmic principle. For them, the odor is the source of personal identity.

    How to deal with doubt

    In the crazy contemporary world, full of social media glam, success stories, fake news, self-proclaimed superheroes, and a hipper drive for self-development prosperity, it is often easy not to feel enough. We do know that we are observing the controlled broadcasting personal performance of others, and it still often affects us. The first step toward reducing doubt is realizing there is a problem, and the issue is doubt. We have a lack of trust when the view is gloomy and when we have a lack of transparency. This could also be self-related. Doubt has always been a part of the human world. The unconscious leads, but we feed it.  In the podcast, I am sharing many questions for self-reflection, and I hope they will be helpful.

    The sleep-related hallucinations are common in the general population. Often we mix them up with the dreams and do not differentiate them as single states, which they are.  Hypnagogic and Hypnopompic states are different types of intensely visual consciousness conditions.
