Barriers to Care for People with Developmental Disabilities

Supported Decision Making 101 for People with Developmental Disabilities

She presents with Marie Bergum, the first person in California to reverse her conservatorship so that she can direct her own life.

Children Youth and Adults with Intractable Seizures: What’s Next
As part of the 2024 Developmental Disabilities Conference, Dr. Danilo Bernardo, Assistant Professor of Neurology at UCSF, discusses novel treatment options for children, youth and adults with intractable seizures, especially to prevent SUDEP (sudden unexpected death in epilepsy). Epilepsy devices, including wearables, video systems and apps, can be used to improve data gathering and trigger alarms.
