Today we speak to Portia Hart, Founder of Blue Apple Beach House and Standard Bearer for Regenerative Travel, a community of independently-owned boutique hotels dedicated to creating positive social and environmental impact.

Portia is an entrepreneur and expert in hospitality in emerging markets, specifically Latin America. In a very short space of time, since 2015, she has founded 2 boutique hotels, 3 beach clubs, 2 bars and a not-for-profit foundation in Cartagena, Colombia.

We touch upon the sustainable vs. regenerative travel, hospitality regenerative standards & how we as travellers can be more conscious of our impact.
