Sorry Spring, Winter is the Season of Love

Winter romance does not have to be limited to Valentine’s Day. The hush in the air, the mystery of the nights, and the need to cuddle up for warmth are just some of the reasons that winter can be the most romantic season of the year.

In this episode, we hear stories and poems about the romantic power of the season from Edmonton’s Poet Laureate Nisha Patel, Claudia Magalhaes-Steele, Reinekke Lengelle, Correne Refsahl-Jensen and Glenn Kubish. We also learn a bit about how winter romance makes good business from Stephanie MacDonald from Unforgettable Days and Laura Coulson - a promotions officer with Jasper National Park who also happens to be a marriage commissioner.
