IPL 2021 is here, and our sizeable student-based group chats have begun to burst with excitement and deliberations. But there is an even smaller inner group of those students is intent on discussing not only the match itself but the variables that go in with every delivery bowled and every decision taken, be it on-field or off-field. Inspired deeply by podcasts such as ’22 Yarns with Gaurav Kapur’ and childhood favourites such as ‘Extraaa Innings T20’, we too have ideated upon and formed a structure for a WWI student-run podcast revolving around the IPL.
