    Our guests Alex Chiu and Monica Maeda are a young couple living in Vaughan - Ontario, Canada. From two different backgrounds,  two different ethnicity and two different continents, God brought them together as a couple. Alex who is originally from Hongkong and Monica whose background is Mexico are blessed in their union with a son - Caleb. In this interview, they talked about their salvation, their union as an exogamic Christian couple and also gave advice to young couples using their union in Christ as a case study. Alex who is in the movie industry and Monica finishing her degree in addiction counselling met in an online dating site.     Tackling the challenges of abortion in Cuba by sister Daliadne Lorente Fonseca

    Our guest today is a prolife advocate from Cuba - Daliadne Lorente Fonseca, The Cuban evangelical Christian who accepted our Lord Jesus in September 2013 at the Charismatic Episcopal Church of Bayamo, Cuba is the leader of the Pro-Life ministry "Ayúdame a nacer" (Help me to be born) in Cuba and a member of the Evangelical Church "Los Pinos" of Santa Clara, where she currently lives. In her words, abortion has been legal since 1965 within hospital institutions and was included in article 267 of the Penal Code in Cuba since 1987 which expressly makes it permissible for any reason. Every year thousands of abortions are practiced on the island. A total of 3,858,872 cases was recorded between 1980-2019.  In 2019 alone, there were 73,661 cases of abortion from ages 12-49, of this number, 52.3% (A little more than half) were women under the age of 20.  All these have brought adverse effects on the social, demographic, moral, and spiritual aspect of the society. There is a strong culture of death that is permeated in the society and even within the Church, it has generated a lethargy marked by indifference and ignorance. For the love of all the babies desired, loved, formed and esteemed by God and for the love of Christ, the 26 year old Daliadne Lorente Fonseca have taken on the challenge by birthing the pro-life ministry in Cuba "Ayúdame a nacer" (Help me to be born) To God be the glory, honor and power for his unwavering love! With the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, the love of God and the communion with the Holy Spirit we will fight the battle for life! She talked about the human/child sacrifice, extreme maltreatment of widows with rape, human trafficking and various forms of irrational and illogical superstition.     The call for youths to use their talents to propagate God's love.

    We are excited to have in our midst today a talented young man who is using his skills and artistry to propagate the word of God. Working presently at Call2recycle Canada. He also went to Seneca College from 2010 to 2012. Then he worked at Dell Canada. As an entrepreneur, Maurício uses his own company The Media Entretainer -TME as a tool to save lives for Christ. Born to a Christian family in Angola 35 years ago, Maurício José  accepted Jesus in the year 2003, when he came to Canada. He is a member of Assemblée Nouvelle Alliance in Scarborough - Ontario where he is also an usher.  His passion for Christ is exemplified in also mimicking different accents and languages creating humor as well as glorifying our savior and Lord Jesus Christ. This multi-talented young man spoke in English, French and Portuguese interchangeably.
