MICHAEL'S BIO:
I serve on the Lake Shore District Technology Committee and Mentor Teacher Committee and also Western New York Technology Integrators’ Forum Advisory Panel. I am a Google Certified Innovator (NYC19 Cohort), Level 1 & 2 Google Certified Educator, Microsoft Innovative Certified Educator and Trainer, 2016 Apple Teacher with Swift Playgrounds. I was selected as a 2018 Minecraft Education Global Mentor and am an active educator/learning ambassador for Bloxels Edu, BrainPOP, Buncee, CoSpaces, CueThink, Flipgrid, Minecraft Education, Seesaw, Wakelet, and 3DBear. I am a Sutori Storyteller and am also a member of the educator focus group for Belouga seeking ways to bring emotional equity through global collaboration to our classrooms. I have also reviewed educational publications for Corwin Press. Recently I have joined a community of educators serving as associates for the Digital Citizenship Institue to help promote Digital Citizenship and Leadership. I have co-hosted an educational podcast called Quest for Edlightenment. I have written the Foreword for the book The Journey to the “Y” in You by Dene E. Gainey. I am also a contributing author to DigCitKids by Dr. Marialice Curran and Curran Dee from EduMatch Publishing. I am also a proud member of the Our Global Classroom team. I was recognized with the NYSCATE Lee Bryant Outstanding Teacher Award at the 2016 NYSCATE Annual Conference.

Ever have one of those moments when you met another person and had instant recognition of another traveler on the same journey. That’s what happened the day Bobbie met Henry. They discovered they shared a huge love for education and children. Even though Bobbie and Henry live halfway around the world from each other, they decided to join voices and created EDUlivestream as a venue to bring a voice to teachers, administrators, EdTech, and the educational community that supports them.

Bobbie Grennier:
Bobbie is a teacher with a strong background in technology. She began her career in education over 35 years ago, before the beginning of the Internet was ever a thing. She taught public school for ten years and then moved into Technology where she experienced the gambit of the Silicon Valley tech explosion and what a fantastic learning platform it was. Today Bobbie is older and has returned to her first love of teaching in the classroom where she can implement her technical background and make a difference in young lives, and hopefully a few older ones too.
