Ep 38: The power of letting go... clearing the path for 2025

Welcome Back! After a long break, I’m back on the podcast (formerly The Business By Intuition Podcast) with an episode that feels incredibly timely as we wrap up 2024. In this episode, I share my reflections on letting go of old wounds, limiting beliefs, and anything that no longer serves us so we can step into the new year with clarity and calm. If you’re feeling the weight of the past year, or struggling to find space for what’s next, this episode will gently guide you toward release, renewal, and a symbolic ritual for calling in a beautiful new vision for your life and business for 2025. TOPICS WE DIVE INTO: * The importance of pausing: Why the end-of-year push to “end strong” doesn’t have to consume you. * Letting go rituals: Simple ways to release pain, fear, or beliefs holding you back to make space for what you want in the new year. * Acknowledging pain: How facing our emotions can be transformative. * Setting gentle intentions: Crafting a vision for 2025 that feels aligned and meaningful. KEY TAKEAWAYS: * Letting go isn’t about forgetting or suppressing—it’s about making space for healing. * A simple ritual, like journaling or burning a list of things to release, can be powerful and symbolic. * Embrace your emotions and use them as a compass for growth. LINKS AND RESOURCES MENTIONED: * Journaling prompts from the episode: * What beliefs or habits are holding me back from the life I want to create? * What lessons can I take from my pain into the new year? Ep 37: Finding your guideposts to help you build a clear and intentional vision

In the past, I've seen clients get hung up on defining goals and a vision for themselves, especially if they're in a season of struggle and their life or business feels hard right now. It can be hard to envision something better. Which is why it can be helpful if you're feeling stuck about what you want, where you want to go, or what you believe is possible for yourself to think of someone you admire in business (your guideposts). In today's episode, I want to give you some questions to reflect on so you can find your guideposts and use this exercise to support you as you build a clear and intentional vision for what feels true and aligned for you during this stage of your life and business. I also share the five people (my guideposts) who inspire me to see what's possible for my life and business, too.  Here are the five guideposts that I mentioned in the show:  🌱 George Kao - check out his Masterheart program here.  🌱 Susannah Conway - check out her business course, The Inside Story here.  🌱 Jen Carrington - check out her Simple and Spacious Business Program here.  🌱 Dani Gardner - check out her Tiny Courses here.  🌱 Kim Klassen - get inspired by her Instagram page here.  (** Please note that some of the above offerings contain affiliate links**) Learn more about my work or submit a question and I'll answer it in an upcoming episode:  Grow your business with intention (and intuition). Work with me 1-1! Submit a question for me to answer on an upcoming episode about your business. This is a public episode. Ep 33: Sometimes pausing is the best strategy for your business

Is your life of business feeling a little crazy right now? Maybe you're a mom of young kids like me. Or you've got a full-time job and your business is currently a side gig. Or maybe you're caring for ageing parents or a child with additional needs (also like me). Either way, life is a little overwhelming right now and you can’t keep up or you're working at a pace that isn’t sustainable. In this episode, I share:  A quick update about why I've taken a couple of months off of the podcast and why I don't feel guilty about it ;) A few tips to help give you the permission you might be needing to pause if you feel like you need a break but you're worried that your followers will leave you or your business will suffer as a result.  Why it's not just OKAY to care for yourself first, it's essential. You know this but maybe today is the day it syncs in. Giving yourself permission to pause might just be the BEST strategy for your business right now.   Links and resources mentioned in the show: How To Make a Comeback After an Unplanned Content Break The Monday Letters (my weekly newsletter)  My offerings  Can Your Business Survive Without Social Media? Ep 32: When the results aren't coming in fast enough in your business

One of the downsides of authentic marketing is that results tend to be slower than what's being pushed and sold to us by the mainstream. A lot of the marketing that we're bombarded with is often selling big results, fast. It usually over-promises on results but under-delivers. Six figures in six months is one that comes to mind. Clients tell me they're tired of that but what they don't realize is that marketing your business in alignment with your values and in integrity with how you want to show up with the world, it can just take longer. Especially if you're not using opt-ins and sales funnels to convert clients and you're being conscientious in the way that you're doing your business—results tend to be slower. So today I want to share a little bit about my own experience with this. And some tips, if you're stuck in that place, so that hopefully you can walk away from this episodewith a little more confidence than before you started the show, because when the results aren't coming in, what happens? You doubt yourself.  You start to think and wonder, am I really cut out for this?  Are people really interested in what I have to say? Are they interested in what I'm selling?  Do I even have a business here at all?  And while there can always be tweaks and improvements made to just about anything we're doing in our business, I believe that you have a something meaningful to share with the world.  If you're here, you have a business that's deeply meaningful. It's an alignment with who you are. It's an expression of who you are and there's people out there who want your service because it has your energetic signature on whatever it is you're selling. And that is not something that can be found anywhere else in the marketplace.  So if you're here and you're feeling a little bit doubtful about what it is that you're doing, because people aren't signing up, people aren't engaging with your content. They're not enrolling in your programs. You're only getting a client here and a client there, and it feels like tumbleweeds and crickets.  If you're feeling discouraged and doubtful because the results aren't coming in fast enough in your business, in today's episode I share four tips for helping you feel less worried and focussed on the slow results so you can back to finding and focusing on the joy in your business.  If you have a question or would like to share your top insight from this episode, click here to send me a voice message and I’d be happy to answer or share it in an upcoming episode. Ep 31: Copywriting tips for critiquing your own sales page for clarity

Have you written a sales page or copy for your website and you're wondering, is it clearly and effectively articulating the incredible value of your offer to the right people? Or maybe you wish you could have someone review your sales page and tell you what's working and what isn't? In today's episode, I share my top tips to help you critique and review your own sales pages or any copy you've written for your website. Most of the tips that I'm going to give you will apply to any copy you write, but most specifically when you're writing a specific offer for a specific audience—like on a sales page. In this episode, you'll hear:  10 things I look for and analyze when I critique a sales page for a client so that you can save time and money and learn to do this for yourself, too. Some of the most common design "mistakes" I see people making on their sales page that can impact the clarity of their offer so you can avoid them in your page design. Small changes and tweaks I will coach my clients make to help make their sales page easier to read and can increase the overall effectiveness without having to change a word of copy.  Links and resources mentioned in this show:  Sales Page Copy Critique Service with Krista Bauer Divi WordPress Theme  If you have a question or would like to share your top insight from this episode, click here to send me a voice message and I’d be happy to answer or share it in an upcoming episode.
