If you don’t like true crime podcast but want an adventure in high intensity ‘real life stories’, jump in. I love the way, the guests speak uninterrupted and develop their own narratives while telling us about what happened to them. As they go deep into their experience and allow themselves to be vulnerable, I feel the privilege of being a witness and feel deep empathy for them expressing their truth.

As a Canadian, I was touched by Erin Goodpipe’s perspectives on the shameful practices and attitudes that continue to affect the lives of indigenous peoples today. Her personal insights and experiences are inspirational.
ridiculous amount of ads

would really enjoy this podcast if it werent for the entirely excessive amount of ads
Mind blowing sex

The idiot talking about his story was creepy with a voice that was disgusting. Extremely hard to listen to and stopped listening after 10 mins. What a waste of otherwise really riveting stories. You should vet your submissions better and not keep creeps on your platform.
Stories for the Soul

An incredibly well-executed podcast where raw and heartfelt stories are told by those brave souls who experienced them. I've eaten this entire podcast up and hold onto every new episode that gets released. This podcast taught me that storytelling is healing not only in sharing but also in listening. The host, Whit Missildine, puts together the most thoughtfully laid out and beautiful to listen to show, that conveys each story with the value and respect it deserves. Class act, well done. Keep up the great work! ❤️❤️
Some Interesting Stories

I find it quite interesting listening to these people’s stories. Makes me realize how blissfully normal my life is. I can also relate to some of these tales and this makes me feel normal too. My only complaint is how much talk there is about god and religion. It’s such an American thing and I cannot relate. If the guest goes on and on about god and their spirituality, I will often skip to the next episode. And unfortunately, I skip a lot of episodes. Americans are soooo religious and it just makes me feel sad for them and their country. I would also skip the fetish, sexual stories. They’re disgusting and I cannot unhear them now.
Brother is a monster - incredible

What a story. What a brave woman. Painful to know there are such tragic family stories in the world. Just when you think you’re having a bad day a story like this comes along and blows your mind. This also highlights a criminal system which needs rework. Like any infrastructure designed decades ago, updating is critical to stay in tune with reality. A victim should always have the right to speak and be heard. Whether a criminal wants to hear it or not. And this constant manipulation of a faulty system by a criminal to suit the criminal should be changed immediately. How anyone can murder a mother, make threats from jail against a sister, and have 90 while-incarcerated charges of assault and STILL be entitled to anything civil is beyond comprehension. She’s a survivor but I’m so very sorry to hear her story. She has to live with all of this in her mind. You go, girl. I’m proud of you.
