Nightmares & Dreamscapes: Pet Sematary: Bloodlines (2023)

Terry and Joe return for a new King adaptation (well...kinda) with director Lindsey Beer's Pet Sematary prequel, Bloodlines (2023).

This is simultaneously overstuffed and completely hollow, so while there's a few perks (hot cast! Indigenous representation!), there's plenty of cons (poor character development! Bad editing! An over reliance on sound design for jump scares!).

It's frustrating because there's a few good kernels, like the class and race critique, but overall this is more than a little forgettable.
