Great podcast on how to balance career and parenting!

I've been listening to tons of podcasts trying to find just the right one that caters to professional moms and I think I've found it! The talks between Laura and Sarah are insightful, useful and authentic. I really identify with what they talk about and I find they give great tips while keeping it real.

Good but needs something else

I loved listening to this podcast when it first came out. I felt I could relate to a lot of the topics being discussed. As time went on I felt the discussions were too repetitive and “vanilla”. Too many positives and suggestions that don’t work for people all the time. I’d love to hear more “realistic” talk. Things the the hosts hate, difficulties at home, being tired, etc. Also, too many interviews with different people end up just talking about the same topics with a slightly different take. Would love to hear from women of different socio-economic backgrounds. Working moms who struggle to pay bills, have childcare, get any “me time”. Just to have a different perspective on the show.

A breath of fresh air

This podcast quickly became one of my favourites. Real women hashing out real problems faced by working moms (although I think anyone would benefit from their insights! We are all busy, after all!). They are honest, insightful and most importantly realistic about what life looks like and how they manage. Production quality isn’t bad, but it isn’t on the professional production end of things and knowing that going in might help with expectations), but honestly that’s one of the things I like about it! It’s raw, honest and real.
