I love this show, even though it’s subjects are usually truly awful people. It’s wonderfully narrated with just enough theatrics to keep your interest without going over the top. I love the hosts and their banter and comments throughout. I’ve been recommending to all my friends who love a podcast.

Listened to the first 3 episodes on Julian Assange. Interesting story but the silly voices for the “dramatization” plus the infantile “banter” was really tedious. It may sound funny in your heads or in your recording booth but it really isn’t.
Leave out the silly irritating banter

While the stories and events of this series are interesting and well told, the irritating And silly banter between the two hosts is off- putting. This last series on Rose Dugdale was particularly galling. The subject matter was serious , thought provoking and well narrated, but the level of frankly unfunny and maddening silliness between the two of them is enough to make me stop listening. Concentrate on the good research and narration and leave out the unfunny banter..
